We’re back –
In September, our choir returned to weekly rehearsals in Albany Hall, Haverfordwest. It feels so good to sing together again!
We are getting used to socially distanced singing, taking all reasonable measures to keep each other safe.
Christmas is coming!
Our first outing for a long time is on Saturday 4th December when we are singing at Milford Waterfront’s day of festive entertainment.

You’ll find us outside Martha’s Vineyard, between 10 and and 11am. Come and join us!
We are also looking forward to sharing joy at Christmas once again with the generous customers of Morrisons, on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th December.
In 2022 –
– we will at last be able to get going with our exciting community participation project “Cantabile – Let’s Get Singing”. Our thanks go to Adam’s Bucketful of Hope Cancer Support Centre, HPB St Brides Castle, and The Sunshine Choir /Maxine Ford of Alzheimer’s Society Cymru for their lovely feedback in support of our application.
We will be recruiting – beginners and experienced choristers most welcome
We have lots to look forward to – so please get in touch if you want to give it a try. We are a very sociable bunch and would love to see you. Currently rehearsals take place Wednesday evenings, 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Albany Hall, Hill Street, Haverfordwest SA61 1QE. So let us know if you want to come along. We will be having a recruitment drive in the spring too – so keep an eye out for that if you can’t join us at the moment.

Who we are:

Cantabile is a ladies choir founded in September 2006. We sing a mixture of popular, light, contemporary, classical and sacred music by both Welsh and international composers. Our members come from all walks of life and from across Pembrokeshire, brought together by a common love of singing.
We perform across a wide spectrum of venues in and around the county, from church concerts, weddings and services, to ferry terminals, county shows and more.
Christmas Carol Singing 2019.
Cantabile Singers of Pembrokeshire spent 2 days at Morrisons in Haverfordwest just before Christmas, entertaining shoppers with Christmas Carols and raised £260 for Morrisons charity of choice Clic Sargent, a children’s cancer charity.
Morrisons have welcomed the choir at Christmas time for quite a while now and customers look forward to hearing the choir with their pianist/choir director Sam Howley who is a well known composer, artist, teacher and pianist. He studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
